 Stainless Valves Stainless 2/2 Valves Normally Open Solenoid valve Stainless Steel Normally Open.Stainless steel 2/2 way normally open solenoid valves are fail safe open valves that will require electrical power to close and prevent flow. Ideal for applications where the vale will spend most of its working life in the open position and only require power on the rare occasion that the valve must be closed. Stainless steel valves are manufactured in either AISI304 stainless steel or AISI316 stainless steel, with common sizes ranging from 1/8" to 1/2" for miniature compact valves or 3/8 through to 2" BSP thread for most other applications. NPT and flange options up to DN500 typically are an option for most European valve manufacturers, suppliers and stockists but commonly with a factory delivery time. Stainless steel solenoid valve pressure ranges from 0 to 500 bar, in both direct acting (also known as pressure assisted, floating diaphragm/piston) or assisted lift (also known as hung diaphragm or forced pilot) operation. Stainless solenoid valves are suitable for most air, water, vacuum, de-mineralised water, RO water, pure water and slightly aggressive media applications for the food industry, petrochemical industry and chemical processing industries.
