 Stainless Valves Stainless 3/2 Valves 3/2 way stainless steel solenoid valves.3/2 way stainless steel solenoid valves are 3 port 2 position are either normally closed, normally open or universal function, used for the diverting of flow from a common inlet to two possible outlets, commonly found as air diverting valves for pneumatically actuated ball, gate or butterfly valves or pneumatically controlled cylinders. Stainless steel 304 and 316 3 way solenoid valves are suitable for most general purpose compressed air, water, vacuum, light oil, slightly aggressive alkali or acid media, Reverse Osmosis Water, De-mineralised water and pure water applications making them an ideal choice for most food industry, pharmaceutical industry and chemical industry applications. Most 3-way stainless steel bodies electrically controlled valves are supplied with 1/8", 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" threaded BSP or NPT ports, sizes beyond this are very few are far between with valve users preferring to less expensive electrically actuated motorised ball valve, pneumatically actuated ball valve or piston valve. Valve sealing options commonly found are NBR and FKM, with some valve manufacturers offering EPDM or PTFE solutions. Pressure ranges typically 0 to 10 bar for general purpose 3-2 way solenoid valves, with some miniature 3 way valve offering a pressure range exceeding 16 bar. Control voltage options commonly associated with 3/2 way stainless steel solenoid valves range from 12vdc, 24vdc, 48vdc or 24vAC, 48vAC, 110vAc or 220 / 230vAC, with other voltages available according to valve make and model.
